George Schubert joined the Land Advisors Organization with a focus on residential land sales (for sale single family, multifamily & built-for-rent). He comes to LAO from Newmark, where he was a Director, closing over $100 million in land investment sales for their Nashville office.
Before joining Newmark, Schubert was a real estate analyst for HFF’s Carolinas Multifamily Investment Sales team, closing more than $1.3 billion and over 10,000 units in sales for more than 30 institutional clients. He was also an integral part of closing a $400 million REIT share sale for a $12.0 billion (AUM) hedge fund.
His career began at Greystar as an Operational Financial Analyst, where he created stabilized budgets and supported over 53,000 units across over 200 assets in the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama. George moved on to be an Analyst for the Performance Intelligence group where he developed and maintained dashboards for Greystar’s 500,000+ unit portfolio.
Schubert has underwritten over $14.0 billion in multifamily investments throughout his career.
